St. John’s Lutheran Church – Bloomington, IL
St. John’s Lutheran Church - Bloomington, IL
The organ at St. John’s was constructed nearly to the apex of this mid-century modern nave, and had divisions placed in the traditional way. Atop the case is the Great division, with the Swell beneath and Choir at the bottom. The pedal division is divided on either side of the main case. Within the main case, there is a separate air circulation system that distributes conditioned air throughout the organ, which keeps divisions well in tune. The French-style console is located to the left of the case.
