A capable woodworker with cabinetry-making knowledge and a focus on exacting detail will add value to our team. Primary duties include blueprint reading, using hand tools and machines to build substructures, decorative facades, organ chests and interior components, and wood finishing. Wiring and welding backgrounds helpful. Experienced organ builder preferred.
Wanted: Experienced, reliable service technicians who can tune skillfully, perform basic voicing and maintenance, and troubleshoot problems. Main activities include tuning, releathering, and repairs from small jobs to entire organ refurbishments. Experience with pipe organ electronics systems a plus.
PROJECT LEADER/SENIOR TECHNICIAN:
A highly skilled technician is sought to work alongside other technicians and act as a team leader. Management experience a plus. This position coordinates with clients, company management, and other service technicians to ensure success and satisfaction for all parties. 5+ years’ experience preferred.
Berghaus seeks an experienced pipe organ builder/technician who demonstrates the ability to manage and develop personnel and projects for both new instruments and large service assignments. This demanding yet rewarding position will satisfy the person who is able to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients, who is absolutely committed to quality, and who enjoys meeting a challenge. 10+ years’ experience preferred.
